There is so much to try to describe when selling a big toy like this. Everyone has a different level of detail information that they personally need, and I'm sure you will agree that one person may look at a vehicle differently than another, even when kicking tires at a dealership, so I will try to describe the best I can, that is all I can do since everyone sees things differently, ....now that is out of the way, on to the good stuff!
MY PURCHASE HISTORY: I bought this H1 Beast in June 2006. I always wanted an H1, so my wife finally let me get one for my birthday :) We live out in the Nevada Desert, in a small town, up a 3 mile dirt road, 40 minutes from the nearest town... so I thought it would be a good match for me to putter around our small town in. Well, short story even shorter, I work from home, hardly drive the truck...when we go out into town, we take our other truck that has the kids dvd player in it ( you gotta have that with kids! ). So, although its hard giving up your 'big kid dream', with a family that comes first, I really have no use for the truck anymore, I'd rather pays some bill off and maybe buy a pool or something.
MECHANICAL HISTORY: The first thing I did when I had my H1 delivered was to bring it to the 'local' Reno dealership. Fortunately for me, this dealership has the Legendary Rod Hall's (Hummer racing driver) son Chad Hall (who also races H1's) as the service sales director, and I spoke with him on all my service calls! What a great guy and he KNOWS his hummers! Well, I had a safety inspection done and had all the safety issues corrected: Replaced Idler Arm, Axle seal leak, pinion seal leak, t-case seal leak, replace upper ball joints, pitman arm replaced...etc... I had all the safety issues taken care of. I also want to mention that the H1 serviceman (who ONLY repaired H1's) at the dealership is one of the best H1 technicians on the west coast!
SUMMARY: If you ever wanted an H1, this will fill your need. THE BIG BOY! Fires right up! Just keep in mind, this is almost 13 years old, and has wear of a 13 year old vehicle - Its not brand new. It has had other owners, but does NOT smell like smoke ~ in fact, I think the interior smells SO GOOD, its hard to explain, maybe its the smell of hummer, or new leather...I dont know, but its the truth!! In my opionion, THE INTERIOR IS GREAT, just look at the pics!!!!!! The paint is OK. It was repainted before I bought it 2 years ago. There are several spots of paint bubbles, which after talking with other H1 owners is fairly normal. I've included pics to judge for yourself. I've replaced several things like, reflectors, interior vents, etc.. I still need to replace a few more vents, but they are secondary ones. I could not get the analog clock to work. It never came with a key to the back wagon doors, but you can manually lock it from the inside. The radio wiring may need someone to look at it, a connection may have come loose from driving on these bumpy dirt roads where I live - it still works and plays the music CDs. The a/c might need a charge, I had it charged in August 06, but honestly hardly used the air, and now blows medium. THE PRICE REFLECTS THESE SMALL ISSUES - (I understand you may need to fix a few of these things if you desire) I never just offroaded the truck on a major 'HUMMER EXPEDITION'.....because after replacing the 'arms' I did not want to ruin anything. So its been pretty much a 'grocery getter' 'drive my kids to school' truck, in my small town. One last note, it is VERY hard for me (personally) to keep this truck clean, living in the desert, high dusty winds blow pretty much 24/7...but thats ok, it IS a HUMMER right!? But as you can see in the pics, IT DOES CLEAN UP NICE!!!!! It definately gets the looks, and dude, it is HUGE! I mean, it feels like you are driving a tank! OH YEAH ~ I Do have the TITLE.
FEATURES: This is one mean looking H1. Not much aftermarket stuff added to junk it up. H2's and H3's are the trucks that people seem to 'bling' ....H1's need to just be H1's! It has agressive offroad Super Swamper tires that have seen some good use, with the RunFLats still installed in the wheels ( the runflats seem to vibrate at the higher freeway speeds, Chad Hall said even the NEW H1's had that issue with runflats, its hard to keep them perfectly balanced, and recommended that I dont pay to try) , and of course, the self inflation tire system, just flick a switch on the inside and the front or rear tires inflate! It has the BIG roof rack, like 8 ft long, see the pics! It has the Cargo Divider between the back seats the the back wagon space. Removeable face CD player, I bought NEW clarion speakers, the ORIGINAL speakers that originally came with the H1 in 96. New Lockable Glove compartment that adds 2 more pop-up drink holders...very cool! I replaced the seats with NEW HUMMER LEATHER SEATS - WOW it looks so good! Has an aftermarket MOMO stearing wheel, after seeing the large size of the original H1 wheel, I can see why the previous owner had it installed - I dont normally like aftermarket stuff, but the wheel is very cool! It is ALL-WHEEL drive all the time. Has 2 Fuel tanks. So much cool stuff on an H1, I know I'm forgetting stuff. This is GAS NOT DIESEL!
BONUS : I am including a BRAND NEW Tyvek H1 cover, I bought this as a spare cover. I also will include, for those 'do it yourselfers' a CD printed version of the 1995-1996 HUMMER Parts Service Manual. I also am including another item I bought and never installed, is 32 BRAND NEW Forged Black aluminum Lug Nuts...man, this will make the truck look SO good!

IF you have another payment method that is safe, RUN IT BY ME FIRST before bidding or using 'buy it now'!!! By Bidding or using 'buy it now', you understand that this is a used 'as is' vehicle with obviously a no return/refund policy. I hate writing that stuff, but I gotta protect myself!
SHIPPING: BUYER TO HANDLE ALL SHIPPING SET UP AND FEES WITH BUYERS CHOSEN TRANSPORT COMPANY (make sure when getting a quote they understand the EXTRA SIZE AND WEIGHT an H1 will need for transport).
UNLESS LOCALLY PURCHASED (within the RENO NV area), I WOULD REQUIRE YOU HAVE THE VEHICLE DELIVERED - TO ASSURE SAFE DELIVERY.
