This is a good running litte car. It has always started right up with the first turn of the key, it idles well and has good power. It does not appear to smoke or drip anything. The transmission shifts fine and the clutch feels good. The tires could use a spin balance because you get a little bit of vibration in the steering wheel at freeway speeds.
When we got this car it was pretty loud. The resonator was split and we braised it and now it's a little loud. The Service Engine Soon light was on so we pulled the codes, the old codes included three misfire codes, an evaporative emissions, and a too lean. We cleared the codes and I drove it about 50 miles and the light came back on. It shows code P0422 and here is a link to what I found on the web.
The windshield is cracked at the top and the rear view mirror is laying on the seat. We can get a new windsheild installed for $150. The tires have good tread left. The A/C blows cold but comes out the defroster. We do have the face plate for the stereo and it sounds pretty good.
