Beautiful, immaculate, sharp, "what year is it" are comments I get everywhere I go in my babied 2003 Infiniti FX35. It was born on 3/03 in rust-free, smoke and pet free Dallas Tx and been garaged, dealer serviced and babied by myself since it was new. When I am at the dealer getting a car wash, many comment on how sharp this SUV is and wonder if it is a 2007 or 2008. I am the one and only owner. I have a 3" thick maintainence folder which includes all Sewell Infiniti Dallas receipts, records and repairs done. All maint up to date. Silver on Black, SPORT PACKAGE (includes 20" wheels which were updated recently with 2007 OEM chrome versions, brushed aluminum pedals, special suspension and clear tail lights which were updated recently on a recall. The FX35 drives like it is brand new. Really! I recently thought about trading it in and drove a 2008 model and it was basically the same! This Silver Bullet is fast, fun, durable and flexible. 89,xxx well pampered miles. This car was driven 20k miles per year for the first four years, 80k by 2007 on trips back and forth from Dallas to Fort Worth on freeways. Since then only 9k miles in It was never in a wreck, but has had some paintwork which is all documented in the 3" folder. Now it is a third car in our garage for family errands and a couple of drives per week. Paintwork happened when the dealer was performing the 30k brake service and didn't realize the service tech hadn't filled up the brake cylinder with fluid yet, and back the car up into another vehicle. The rear bumper had to be repainted and blended with the rear quarter panels. I have all documentation for this. No leaks, funny sounds or any disappointments.

In the past three months, the vehicle has had a fluid change, alignment, rotate and balance of the NEW Yokohama tires ($1,000 spent) and new micro cabin air filter, new air filter as well. The FX35 shifts smoothly and aggressively with it's manumatic option, up to fifth gear and is a blast to drive. The FX is a great mix between a SUV and a sports car, hence the crossover terminology. Don't let the "utility" word scare you...I get close to 20mpg in mixed city/hwy driving. It is a family vehicle, with the convenient latch system in the back, side airbags, etc. Very safe and very fun. Rear seats fold down nicely and the leather is supple and wraps your body tight. No tears or rips in the leather as I personally condition the seats weekly (and have since new) with Meguires Gold Class Leather treatment. The FX35 has also been waxed and buffed regularly and always garaged. Every time this vehicle has sneezed wrong, it has been at the dealer. Trust me...ask Sewell Infiniti in Dallas!
There are several FX35's you may find slightly less expensive. Reason is that they haven't been properly maintained or there is no proof of such. You are taking a risk, folks! A luxury SUV can be very expensive to maintain and repair if it hasn't been done properly. I have invested several thousand dollars in the past couple of years updating, refreshing and enhancing this FX35. Some of the repairs and receipts you will see (warranty, cosmetic and non-warranty) are: New brakes, new tires, new battery, new belts, new power steering pump, new engine motor mounts, trans service, rear diff service, new lights, new wheels, new filters, detail and buff services, new spark plugs and many other services. All records!
