Vehicle Description
Low original miles. Purchased new from north central Kansas IH dealer. Truck hasn't run in 10 years or so, but was driven to it's current parking spot on farm back then. Unknown if motor is frozen.
Make great parts truck or good candidate for restoration. You can't see in the pictures but there are 4 original IHC hubcaps all around. These are rare and hard to find. Dash is pretty well gone, but instruments still in good shape (I think the AM radio still works).
Not sure of the engine size, but know for sure it's an 8 cylinder and probably the small V8 (like a 304) so will do reasonably well with gas mileage.
Right front fender could be hammered back out or just replace. The front bumper is missing, but probably located around the farm somewhere (was taken off to make room for tow-hitch bumper, which can be included with the truck if you want it). Rear bumer is galvanized angle iron to allow for pulling tanks and farm equipment (don't think it came with a factory rear bumper so probably not one laying around at the farm)
The photos show a date of 1/1/1998. That's not when the pictures were taken, just the date my camera defaults to when the batteries are replaced and the operator doesn't know how to reset! Pictures were taken in April or May of this year.
I'm selling this truck for my father and I'm located approx 150 miles away so viewing won't be possible in this auction, but if you have questions, I'll try to answer as best I can. I used to drive this pickup so can answer most questions.
