Vehicle Description
Relisting due to a winning bidder that's been stringing me along for 3 months on pickup, please don't be that lame :)
C1000 panel, originally IH red now school bus yellow(interior is still the original red with paint in nice condition). Has all the correct panel bits, extended load floor, fixed 2nd row side glass, etc. Professional addition of flat rear quarter windows(way too clean an install to be an amatuer hack). I believe it was originally a fire dept. vehicle(staff transport), no documentation on that. All stock and unmolested with a BG241 6 cyl / 3 speed. Ran and drove fine when I got it, service brake hydraulics need attention from sitting. Engine is free, I'm sure it will start right up with a fresh dressing of the points, but don't expect to drive it home!
My 'vision' for this truck:
Oak cargo floor with stainless bed strips like them fancy pickemup restorations.
Oak veneer headliner
255/70 radial tires on chrome smoothies with baby moons.
White roof, back to the original IH red on the balance of the body.
This will make a sweet cruiser for somebody. C series panels are *extremely* rare, it's not likely you'll ever park next to another one at a show!
I am moving and have a hard deadline, so please abide by these terms: $100 non-refundable deposit by Paypal only within 24 hours of auction close. Balance is due by 7 days from auction close by Paypal only. Vehicle must be picked up in San Luis Obispo, CA no later than 30 days from auction close or all monies are forfeit and the vehicle may scrapped. Sorry, but that's the reality of the situation so please be prepared to work within those guidelines. I will gladly work with your shipper to get the truck loaded, it is your responsibility to get them here in a timely fashion. Because of my situation I do also have this for sale locally and must reserve the right to pull the listing. Update - That is the correct radio delete plate to fill in the dash sitting on the front seat. The cargo door exterior handle is present and accounted for.
