Description
You are looking at a nice 1973 International Scout II with a V8 in great condition with 66,679 miles on the odometer. Scout II's were manufactured from mid year 1971 to 1980 and Scout was one of the first production American civilian off-road sport utility vehicles. It was originally created as a competitor to the Jeep, A power full V8 and tough Dana 30 front axles and Dana 44 rear axles make this a extremely well built 4X4. The 1973 Scout II\'s had a totally new look in the grill, which now had 14 vertical bars between the headlights, Weather you want to go out for a sunday drive or do some serious off road-ing this Scout will give you years of enjoyment.
Note:The odometer reads 66,679 (5 digit). Due to the year of the car the actual miles on the vehicle are stated TMU (total miles unknown).

Condition:
Mechanically this vehicle is in good condition. It runs and drives good. The stock 304 V8 runs strong and the 4 speed transmission shifts good, The clutch is starting to let out at the top of the pedal and will need replaced in the near future. There are no unusual noises or vibrations when running or driving. All of the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems appear to be working properly.
The exterior condition is good with bright and shiny White paint. This Scout was painted in April of 08 and has no rust issues at all. The the trim is in good shape with minimal nicks and scuffs. The removable top is in good shape and has side windows that open. All body panels appear to be original with no signs of previous damage. There is a small dent in the front grill on the passenger side (hard to see in photos) All of the exterior components appear to be complete and working properly.
The interior is in good condition . The seats have been recently professionally reupholstered front and rear. There is a locking center console with a custom carpeted rear storage box as well. There is a full roll bar. The front floors are vinyl and do show some signs of age with some tears and stains, seen in photos. There are no unusual smells or odors in this vehicle.
The engine compartment, undercarriage and trunk are clean and complete. As you can see in the photos the under carriage is clean and there has not been a lot of abuse to this Scout. The There are no signs of major rust or corrosion anywhere.
Wheels and Tires are in good condition. The chrome wheels are in good condition and are wrapped in a set of Laredo 33 X 12.50 R 15 inch tires with a good amount of tread left.
This is a truly exceptional vehicle and an outstanding value!
