1986 Isuzu Trooper This Trooper is in good condition, The interior is 5/10. The seats are ripped but I have seat covers. All gauges work, Tach, Fuel, Oil pressure, Battery.
The Exterior has been painted. I am not sure when but it was painted the same as stock. It is a very good job. Except where the gas spilled out of the filler neck. I replaced the worn out gas cap and it doesn't leak any more see Picture. Body is very straight as you can see from the pictures. There are three rust spots and I have the pictures. One on each side under neath the windshield. and one on the drivers side gutter around the roof. The truck has rustproofing undercoating and looks to be holding up well. There are 2 antenna balls mounted on the drivers side ready to be hooked up to your CB equipment. Towing package is the smaller type.
The engine is the 4 cylinder 2.3 gasoline. I rebuilt the top half of this engine about 5000 miles ago. It has all new exhaust valves and the lower half was inspected for wear. The pistons look very good. Runs very strong, no smoke, quiet, runs perfect. Transmission is good and 4X4 works good. The engine does have a oil leak. I believe it may be the oil pan but it doesn't leak enough to worry about so I never got around to finding it.
