Vehicle Description
This car is 99% original, it is one of 2500 left hand drive units made. All the serial numbers are matching. I have owned it for 4 years and it was previously stored for 5 years. The parts that I have installed new are as follows: radiator and all cooling hoses, the front steering parts, electronic ignition and plug wires,head gasket kit and reconditioned head c/w valve retaining clips, battery box, heater fan motor, transmission kick down cable and carb linkage cable, fuel pump (not Jaguar product), windshield rubberseal, rear door hatch weather stripping. The interior has a new head liner, rear seat covering, glove compartment and lower storage shelf, and the rear hatch compartment has been recovered. The exterior has only several minor surface rust areas. It was painted silver probably 20 years ago, the original color was yellow. All the factory adjustment and wheel tools are with the car plus several manuals. The carbs probably need rebuilding. The car runs but recommend towing or shipping, the speedo registers 52,000 miles.The car is probably close to 85% restored and wouldn't take much effort to make it a fine driver. I've tried to be as honest as possible but the "old cat" is 41 years young so it's as is where is. I'm not a professional photographer so if you wish futher info please email me.
