Please take your time and check out all the pictures of this beautiful 1999 Jaguar XJR. First off, this is a rust-free California car. It has spent it's whole life here in sunny California ............. NO RUST! The body on this car is NICE, no dents. Body is Straight as an arrow. Paint is new. Please see the pictures. The rims are 18" 5 spoke alloys wheels with 255/40ZR18 tires, and all the tires are good. 3 are B.F. Goodrich 1 is Pirelli.

Please take your time and check out all the pictures of this beautiful car. The interior equipment includes leather seats, and fine wood trim, which can also be found on the leather-covered steering wheel, and the center control unit. The dynamic multicontour backrests guarantee relaxed traveling. The interior is nice. The radio is Jaguar sound system, with intregal Dynamic Range Optimizer (DRO), with 6 disc CD/Stacker. The air conditioning blows ice cold, and everything on this car works as it should. Spend some time and look at the pictures.
The XJR brandishes 387 feet-pound of torque, and 370 horsepower through the rear wheels. This substantial increase in output is courtesy of an Eaton supercharger and a pair of intercoolers, one for each bank of the V-8's cylinders. At a mere 1600 rpm, the XJR's supercharged motor is already producing more torque than the normally aspirated engine of the XJ8 at its peak.
With traction and stability control systems in place should the need arise, the XJR jumps ahead with all the enthusiasm of the famed "Leaper" that rides on its hood. You'll pounce to 60 mph in just 5.2 seconds (so swift that a Corvette has to be quick on the draw to keep up), awash in a haze of tire smoke should you decide to switch off the traction control.Of course, you could back off at this point................. Stay in the throttle, and you'll dispatch the quarter mile in 13.7 seconds at 103.8 mph; topping out at an artificially limited 155-mph top speed (sans limiter, the big cat will top 170 mph).
This is the car you've promised to buy yourself ............... why not? You won't be disappointed. Apart from being (to my eye) just the most beautiful big CAT produced in recent years, it is more than adequately fast, extremely comfortable and just a pleasure to drive! MOTOR TREND
The engine runs very strong, no check engine light on, but car doesn't idle smooth. I took this car to the Jaguar dealer, they say the car has a vacumn leak somewhere? The transmission shifts excellent. The A/C blows cold. This car feels mechanically solid. We just recently purchased this car, so we are unaware of any prior repairs. This is an original "Beverly Hills" California car . Carfax is 100% sparkling clean, with absolutely "0" negative issues (will e-mail you a copy, if you ask). The car can be driven home, but as always, we recommend having the car transported for longer distances. Feel free to ask any questions and please bid early and often!
