Up for bid is a 1996 Jaguar XJR with 129k. The exterior is flamenco redwith an ivory interior. The supercharged 4.0L straight six is very stout, 322hp and 378 ft/lbs. The car runs and drives great. I have put around 3000 miles on the car since may 2008 when I purchased it.
I recently had new plugs installed along with a throttle body cleaning with a new idle air control sensor (IAC). The car comes with an extra IAC from Jaguar. I recently had the transmission rebuilt with a few other extra components ($1500). I had the car repainted the original color because when I purchased it the clear coat was peeling off. The rear brakes have new rotors and pads. I have put lots of money(w/ receipts) into this car to make it a great daily driver but I'll never recoup what I put it so my loss is your gain.
This car is very quick and has all the amenities that one could ask for. This car has the most comfortable seats of any car I have ever driven. The six disc changer works when it wants to but other than that the car is great. 17in alloys with good tires. If you’re looking for a beautiful and fast executive touring sedan this is the Jag for you. If you have any questions give me a call at (717) 387 1144.

On thursday I got code po0753p/d which is the transmisson harness. It goes away but comes back, sometimes not for a few days. It's a common problem with this model and can be fixed by cleaning the connecter or replacing it ($400).Check out jag-lovers.org for more information. I have over $8400 in this car and I need to get rid of it too move out of my parents house. Other than this new issue,a high idle(fixable before pickup)and a rock chip in the windsheild (passed inspection) this car is mint.
