For sale is my Jaguar XJR. It is the in-line 6 cylinder version of the bullet-proof AJ-16 engine with the 4 speed ZF automatic transmission. Only 400 of these were imported in 1995. This car is in near perfect condition and needs nothing either mechanically or cosmetically. I am the third owner and have owned this car since November, 2005. The Carfax and title are both clear.
A bit of history about the car: I bought it from a chap in Illinois after looking for the best example I could find. After speaking with him, I could tell he had cared for the car and I had a fellow Jag Club member inspect it for me. The sale was made and I drove it back to North Carolina. Once home, I heard a bearing noise from the supercharger and I had my mechanic go over it with a fine-toothed comb. The following work was done (I have the receipts):
1. Supercharger replaced
2. Head gasket replaced
3. Octopus hose replaced
4. Both stub axles in rear replaced
5. Transmission pinion seal replaced
6. All fluids flushed and replaced: transmission, brakes, cooling, power steering.
A few months later...
7. Driveshaft center bearing and rear transmission mount were replaced.
In addition, since owning the car, I have replaced all 4 brake discs with Brembo rotors and the brake pads with Akebono ceramic pads. The rims are also new. They are OEM XJR rims I found brand new from Welsh Jaguar in Ohio (I still have the old ones if you want them). The tires are Michelin Pilot Sport A/S and have about 15,000 miles. They barely look used. I replaced the front bumper cover and had the surrounds around the headlights and the grill painted because I didn't like the stone chips that were present. The rest of the paint looks great. While I was at it, I replaced the chrome inserts for the front and rear bumpers.
If you know these cars, you know there are a couple of things to be aware of on the inside. One is the clock, which can go blank and the other is the interior mirror with can leak. Well, you guessed it. I have replaced the mirror and the clock works perfectly. The seats, door panels and headliner are excellent. There is one small scratch in the leather on the rear seat that my camera will hardly pick up and a small mark on the bottom of the map pocket on the right front door. It's not visible unless you look straight down into the map pocket with the door open. These are the only flaws on the inside of this car (I'm picky and they don't bother me). The wood is flawless and is the darker wood unique to that year. The stereo is Harmon Kardon with a 6 c/d changer in the trunk. It works as it should. In fact, everything on the car works as it should. You will NOT be disappointed.
Now about me... I am a Jaguar enthusiast and JCNA member. I have owned 20+ Jags over the years and currently have 8 cars. Sadly, I've got to let one go. My cars are kept in a climate-controlled garage with dust covers on them. You may find one cheaper, but I guarantee it won't be as nice as mine with everything fixed that has needed fixing. I welcome any inspection and will help by taking the car to someone of your choosing as long as they are local. My reserve is set fairly and I won't reveal it. Please feel free to ask questions.

One correction to my description. The transmission is a GM 4L80E, not a ZF as previously described. It is the original transmission. Sorry if any confusion.
