1988 Jaguar XJSC Cabriolet. Absolutely gorgeous car. Very rare model, and highly collectible. We’re told only 500 were built. Regularly serviced and very low miles – just over 40,000. Canvas roof-top shows some fading and minor stains in the front. See photo. Exterior is in stunning condition as the car has been treated like royalty since it was purchased. The car has been in our family since purchased new in 1988. Absolutely no rust! Paint is a beautiful metallic champagne/gold color with a few very minor chips in the on the driver and passenger doors. Can easily be touched up. See photos. Leather seats are in great condition. Interior center console has a minor chip. See photo. Otherwise, the interior looks beautiful. No cracks in dash, always garaged, always covered and rarely driven. Motor purrs, and drives like a dream. The V12 runs amazingly quietly even when cruising down the highway. Power windows are fully functional. The electrical system (interior lights, trip computer) can be a bit tweaky at times but nothing major. We believe there may be a minor oil leak based on what we see on our garage floor. However, the car is driving perfectly. Have original owners manual, full service history and car cover. We also have the soft top which can be used to make the car a true convertible. The car was recently driven from the Bay Area to Portland, OR and averaged 19 MPG with no troubles whatsoever. We are selling because we have kids now, and are not able to enjoy the car like it should be enjoyed. Buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for shipping. Local pickup in Portland, OR is fine. $1000 deposit due within 2 days of auction close. Balance due within 7 days of auction close. CORRECTION: We have just been told from someone in the eBay community that in fact 1500 of these cars were built per year for a two year period.
