For sale is 1987 Jaguar XJSC V12 We bought this car used from a local dealer just recently and don't know too much about the history, other than what the dealer told us. The car originated in Florida and then was sold to Arizona, where it remained for most of the time. Finally it was sold to Indiana a few years ago. The car is in excellent shape inside and out. It looks like it has been painted recently, the paint job is excellent also. It runs great, one can feel the power of that 12 Cylinder 5.+ Ltr engine. It is a Coupe, but has 2 Targa tops, which come out, as well as the rear window, which then can be replaced with a foldable rag top. All is there in good working condition. It is a little awkward to change the hardtop rear window to the ragtop, but I thinks its designed to do this task only twice a year for Summer driving. This car is in excelent condition and very sharp looking!! I can't say any more, just look at the pictures, and if you should have a chance to have a look at the car you are welcome to take it out for a spin. Contact me by e-mail for arrangements. We are asking for a $500.00 non refundable down payment within 48 hours of auction close and full payment within 10 days. Remember, the car is sold as is, without any warranty. It is a used car and if it should break in 2 halves, while you drive it home, you own two halves. (This is what the used car dealer told me!) Good luck biding On Aug-29-08 at 11:32:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Additional 8/29/08 I was asked for rust or bubbles on the undercarriage, so i put the car on a lift yesterday, unfortunately did not have my camera with me. I coud not find any rust or bubbles on the undercarriage, in fact the undercarriage and undercoating looks fantastic good shape, the mechanic told me that there was no evidence, that the car has been wrecked either. He suggested, that down the road we should replace the upper control arm bushings and the sway bar bushing to the frame, on the right side, however these bushings come in pairs and might be a good idea to do both sides. Since i had a small vibration between 45 and 55 miles per hour, we rebalanced all 4 tires and now the car drives smooth. I had up to 90 mph to test it. By the way, did i mention, that the car runs on four very good Pirelli Tiers, with lots of miles left in them. I also had the A/C changed from R12 to R134a and it started blowing cooler, but not real cool enough, so I have to go back and let them do it again. If we can't fix it, then the buyer of this car might have to go to a A/C doctor. At trhe request of an interested parties, i added more pictures of the interior, which is very clean but not new car you must understand, and the buy now option. This is an exceptional good looking and good driving vehicle. Thanks for biding.
