This RARE 1997 Jaguar XK8 Coupe comes in a beautiful metallic sapphire blue with oatmeal Leather interior, Power/Heated/Memory seats, upgraded Pioneer DEH-P5000UB cd player with the original 6-disc CD changer (trunk), Power windows, Power locks, Power Mirrors, Cruise Control, Factory key with Remote Jaguar fob, powerful 4.0L DOHC 300HP V8, 5-speed ZF automatic overdrive transmission, up to 28 mpg on the highway! I average 23.5mpg on a regular basis! The Michelin Pilot sport '17 tires have about 75% tread depth , the car rides, runs and drives great! Colorado State Safety inspected and emissions, serviced at the local Jaguar specialist. The car has 97,489 easy original miles, it was originally a TEXAS car. Bought new in San Antonio so most of the miles are actual highway miles! Only 1200 of these RARE coupe were brought in for 1997!!! Exterior: The car shows well, with some minor parking lot dings here and there (see pics). The largest ding being in the drivers door, thanks to my idiot neighbor! Otherwise normal wear and tear. Both headlights and taillights have been upgraded to the newer 04-06 Jaguar style, rear taillights are the "jeweled" type much better looking than the originals. And the headlights have bright xenon lights like to newer jags. Interior: Is in good condition no major flaws or tears in the seats. The driver's seat shows the most wear, see pics. An aftermarket Pioneer radio has been installed, the original 6 disc cd changer is still in the trunk. The new radio sounds great and it has mp3/ipod hookup plus a remote. I've installed a 400w mono amp with a 8 inch pioneer woofer. Also included are some aftermarket Phoenix Gold radial speakers which I have yet to install ($150). Antenna needs a new cable, which I have just haven't put it in. The cup holder has been fixed. There was a car phone mounted to the center console when I got the car, I have since removed the ugly mount for it (see pics). I still have the phone if the buyer wants it. Mechanically: The car is in good shape, I haven't had any major problems with it. Always serviced at a Jaguar specialist. Synthetic oil has always been used. Recently tuned up (plugs, filters) , brakes have been done in the last 10,000 miles. I have a thermostat upgrade kit which I'll throw in, comes with a new wax pellet STANT thermostat. I have a huge folder full of records on the car, as well as thousands of dollars in receipts! The car has a clean carfax record also. All in all it has been one of the BEST cars that I have owned. I also forgot to mention that the car has an updated rear license plinth, or surround. This is the newest style, which has been painted body color i.e. XKR style. I have some automotive paint left over from the job which matches the factory "JGE" color perfectly. This can be used for future touch ups. Note: Some miles may be added onto the car, as I'll be driving it periodically.
