This beauty is powered by a 290 horsepower 4.0 L V-8, and one of the smoothest shifting 5 speed automatic transmissions you've ever driven. The suspension is a wishbone front and rear suspension with stabilizer bar and independant coil springs, ABS braking system, and stability control, making the XK8's handling, ride and braking second to none. This vehicle comes with over 40 standard features including climate control A/C, security system, 8 speaker am-fm cassette cd/changer, 2 memory positions for seats, mirrors and steering wheel position, beautiful Bird's Eye Maple woodgrain trim thru-out. There are no mechanical issues with this Jaguar. Records indicate it has been serviced every 5-6,000 miles at an authorized dealership, and was a new car trade-in. As with all my vehicles, I have personally driven this car with no issues or concerns, to assure it's readiness for listing. The British Green paint is in excellent condition, deep and vibrant with no issues of fading. The clearcoat is perfect. All exterior lamps, trim, glass and 1 push button down convertible top is perfect, as are the tires and wheels. The interior shows little to no signs of wear, including carpets and woodgrain trim. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.
Terms and Conditions
Fee and Tax Information: Tax will be collected from all Florida residents. If you are from out of state and driving home, you will have to pay your State sales tax up to 6%. You will also get a temporary tag that is good for 30 days that will allow you to drive the car home. You will get a Florida form DR123 showing tax paid in Florida and your local tax collector will give you full credit for tax paid in Florida. If the car is being transported by a licensed ICC carrier there will be no tax collected but you will still be responsible for sales tax in your home State, if a tax exists. We have a $125.00 fee for all transactions to cover the cost of the courier services and miscellaneous items.
Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
If you are not sure about something, please ask! Do not assume anything not listed is included. We reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback. We reserve the right to end the listing if the vehicle is no longer available for sale.
