This is a 1983 Jeep CJ-7 Laredo in excellent condition. It came equipped with the following factory options: Power steering, Power brakes, Clock, Tack, and Tilt steering.
The original 258 6-cyl engine was replaced last year with a rebuilt AMC 360 V-8 engine bored 30 over. The engine has around 1500 miles on it. It is equipped with an aluminum high rise intake, Milodon valve covers, and a Holly four barrel carburetor. It also has a MSD distributor, coil, and ignition system. To help keep that bad boy cool a new aluminum radiator was installed. The exhaust system is new and sounds awesome with the Eldebrock stainless steel ceramic coated headers and Flow Master Mufflers. The engine is backed with the highly sought after T-176 4-spd. Transmission with a Dana 300 transfer case.
It has a model 30 front end equipped with new Warren hubs and a Detroit Locker. The rear end is a model 20 equipped with one piece Moser axles and a Detroit Locker. The gears have also been swapped out to a 4.11 gear ratio. The drive lines have been rebuilt consisting of new drive shafts with Spicer u-joints. This Jeep will climb a tree.
The Jeep has a 2-1/2 inch suspension lift consisting of new leaf springs, shocks, and 2 inch heavy duty grease able shackles, etc. It is sitting on a new set of 15 x 10 Pro Comp aluminum wheels with 33 x 12.50 x 15 Pro Comp X-Terrain tires.
The body and frame are virtually rust free and in excellent condition. It has all new stainless accessories which really set the Jeep off.
It has custom made front and rear bumpers. The front is set up and ready to mount a winch on. It also has two KC lights attached to it.
The top is a new Bestop, spice denim in color with tinted windows. It also has the 2 pc soft doors. The interior is in excellent condition. It has new front seats with sliders and the factory rear back seat. The wiring has all been redone with a Painless wiring harness. It also has new pro comp gauges, lights, and heater control cables.
This Jeep runs and drives awesome. It is set up to have the best of both worlds. It can be driven around town, down the interstate, or take it off road and hit the trails. It’s a real head turner sure to get lots of compliments!!!
