Vehicle Description
Up for auction, is a 86 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade.It has a 258 straight six with a 4spd manual trans, power stearing, disc brakes up front, intermitten wipers, tilt wheel, and 31X10.5R15LT BFGoodrich Radial All-Terrain T/a tires with a good amount of tread . Previous owner installed a new carburator, muffler with tailpipe, and distibutor. The body has some rot in the floor behind the seats and some on the sides as you can see in the pictures. The frame is very solid, no rot . Back driver side corner was hit. The frame was not damaged in the accident. The hood has a crease in it from flipping back and hitting the windshield frame. The windshield frame was replaced. The old one had a light bar on it that leaked and rusted out the frame. The hard top and doors I bought at a swap meet. The top is in good shape but the doors need some work. All the glass is good. It does have some electrical issues. It has no reverse lights and if you put the tilt wheel down the blinker doesn't work. The fuel gauge also doesn't work. The vehicle runs and drives but I never had it on the road because of the electrical issues.
