Vehicle Description
Up for action is a jeep renegade levi addition. It sat in a barn for about 17 years before i got it. It was stock when i got it about 2 years ago. The jeep wasnt driven in all that time so i started to go through it . I replaced the spark plugs, plug wires, coil, belts, hoses, and fuel filter. All the lights, gauges, radio and excessories work. The gas tank was shot, so I removed what was left of it. I could get it to run using a gas can. It had a 2 barrel carburator on it. It had trouble starting some times so i replaced the manifold and installed a brand new edelbrock 600 4 barrel carburator . The carb required an adapter to go on the manifold , but i think it leaks air because I cant get the jeep to run again since i made the swap.The frame is solid and the body is in good shape for its age. The front fenders are rusty and the passenger one is crunched, but I have 2 used replacement ones that are clean and have good flares. I also have a replacement brand new plastic gas tank and brand new skid plate that goes with the jeep. Other than that the jeep is bone stock. For 2 years it has sat in my garage and i have little or no time to work on it . It will make a great jeep for someone with the time to put into it.
