I purchased this JEEP about 6 months ago. I have replaced the rear brake shoes, tires, shocks, muffler and tailpipe, tuneup and it has passed the Connecticut state emission test. I have been driving it 50 miles a day on the interstate. The car runs strong and true. Accelerates and shifts fine getting onto the hiway and it doesn't shake or drift ( I have had it up to 80 mph). The A/C runs cold and the 4 wheel drive works. As you can expect on a vehicle that's 14 years old, there are some flaws. The seat part of both front seats are damaged do to wear. I have seat covers on the front seats. The backs of the front seats are fine as is the back seat. The headliner material is saging. The exterior has its scratches, dings and fading. The rear bumper has rusted through ( check photo). There is flaking rust on the undercarrage on the passenger side. The photos are showing the rust forward of the rear tire close to the leaf spring mounting and the other showing rust through the floorboard (wire is showing). The front drive/fog lamps are missing.
