1972 Jeep Commander (August 1971 build)
This Jeep is all original from bumper to bumper, it still has the original 304 V8 engine fitted with the 400 automatic transmission.
There are reciepts for transmission overhaul and paint job in 2004, the previous owner did a overhaul on the motor (no documentation
The car runs and drives great and also the 4x4 works beautifully.
Also has it fitted a aftermarket FRIGIKING airconditioning. It works ok, freon is there enough but I can't get it blowing cold yet.
The original hardtop is in great condition no dents or major damage. Only the headliner could be redone.
The interior is original bun needs some tender love and care.
The body is great all round, Of course there are marks from use but no dents or bondo in the body. From 20 feet distance the car and its paint looks a 9 out of 10 but coming close it is a 7.

I purchased jeep a week ago on e-bay for $4700.00, very bad timing on my part to buy with all that's going on in my family.
What I've noticed about jeep since I bought it. The body seems accident free with very minimal signs of any rust.
Most lines are good the hood and passenger door need to be adjusted for better fit. All the lights work but the turn signals don't blink.
The air condition blows air and the compressor comes on but not cold air (may need service).
There is dual exhaust with glas-pac mufflers.
The motor is very strong and sounds good (could use some cosmetic detailing).
The transmission shifts smooth and in good condition.
There is a reciept for a new paint job in 2004 (cost $3800) and is still in good condition.
I tried the 4 wheel drive and works good.

is).
I feel this is a very solid jeep but not perfect and with alittle work here and there will go from good to excellent. (Its a head turner)
