1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 luxury rig with a solid and smooth running 6 cylinder 4.0L engine. I have not had any engine problems, changed the oil every 4,000 miles, and air filters every 10,000. The front differential had new bearings put in June 2008 by 4-Wheel Parts and Performance Center…the nationwide experts on 4-wheel drive vehicles, new front wheel hubs and brakes, and new tires in February 2008.
The body is super clean except for a scrape on the back right side (done by EX-girlfriend when backing out of garage on an icy day in Colorado.). There is also a small dent (about 1” long) on the hood. Both blemishes are in the photos. I also noticed while taking pictures that there is slight paint peel near front right wheel well. The car was in a fender bender in July 2008 which required replacing the radiator (it caught the hitch ball of a pick up truck). The rest of the body is in great shape. The paint is shines and looks great, garaged since I’ve owned it!! I bought this vehicle on eBay from a dealer in Ft Worth. It’s been the best running car I’ve ever owned.
Perfectly tinted windows…not the cheap after-market stuff that bubbles up after a year or two.
The interior is all original and very clean. Power everything. Everything works like new. Also comes with a 10 CD changer. The two front dash speakers, however, do not work. I didn't even notice until adjusting the front/rear fader a couple of years ago. The AC works great…even in the Arizona heat where I recently moved to. There are two small cracks on arm rest of driver’s door (see photo), everything else is in great condition. This Jeep was never abused in any way, never smoked in and was never used as a work rig (except to bring home the Christmas tree on the rack)! Used mostly for going snowboarding and traveling to the office. 4x4 works great and you can shift on the fly (see owner’s manual for speeds).
It has 159K+ miles, which may seem high, but the engine is clean and I’ve never had any problems with it. I have most service, repair and maintenance records since I purchased it.
If you are looking for a reliable and super strong running Jeep with great MPG, than this is it!!
