This is a 1993 Grand Cherokee Wagoneer. It is in great shape for the mileage. This truck was owned and driven by a friend of mine who was recently given a new vehicle. I have all the service records for this truck as well as the original owners manual. This truck has recently had its oil changed as well as a new radiator. The engine starts every time and has plenty of power. The transmission doesn't slip at all. The interior is in near perfect shape. The rear seats fold down flat to allow a huge amount of cargo room. Three of the tires have about 40% tread left. The left rear tire is near the end of its useful life. The shock went bad and caused the tire to wear faster than the others. The shock has since been replaced. This was a non-smoker vehicle and was very well maintained. Here is a list of this Jeep's features:
Leather interior
Automatic Climate control
Automatic transmission
220hp engine
Full Time Four Wheel Drive with Low Range
Power Windows
Power Locks
Power Mirrors
Trailer Hitch with round electrical connector
This truck does have a few minor issues, but nothing I would consider major. The right rear window doesn't work. The rear hatch supports don't work. You have to prop the hatch open or it will fall closed. The windshield has a crack in it just above the windshield wiper on the passenger side. The ABS light is on. The brakes still work fine, there's just nothing to keep them from locking up if you slam on the brakes. The engine uses about a quart of oil every thousand miles or so. That's not unexpected for a higher mileage Jeep. If you check your oil when you fill your tank, you should have no problems staying ahead of it. I have not investigated the cost of fixing any of these problems. The only thing I think I would fix if I were going to keep the truck would be the rear hatch supports. Nothing worse than getting knocked in the head while your trying to load stuff into your vehicle. The other stuff seems inconsequential to me, but I wanted to disclose it anyway.
Anyone is welcome to come check the Jeep out before bidding. Feel free to call me at 443-865-9653 if you have any questions. I will be out of town for the weekend, but I will answer calls and make sure someone is available to show the Jeep.
