This is a Grand Wagoneer model full size 4x4 truck with an AMC 360 engine and a torqueflite 727 automatic transmission. I purchased it in 2001 with the intent of restoring it. The truck had 126,000 miles on it. The engine had a knock in it but the body was in fairly decent condition. Shortly after I bought it I tore the engine down and found one of the rod bearings had spun causing the knocking noise. I kind of expected this before I bought the truck. The engine has since been completely rebuilt but not yet fired-up.
The following machining work and new parts have been put in to the engine:
Block bored .020” over. Crankshaft reground .010 under to clean up damaged caused by spun bearing.
Heads received valve job and surface milling.
Federal Mogul engine kit consisting of cam, main, rod bearings, pistons rings.
Edelbrock performance cam, lifters, and roller timing chain and sprockets
Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, Edelbrock 600CFM 4-barrel carb.
Just because it was out the transmission was also rebuilt.
A 4” lift kit from rusty’s offroad is included. The kit came with 2 new front springs, an additional leaf for the rear springs, and 4 shocks. Only the front springs have been installed so far. That why the front looks higher in the pictures. The front wheel shaft U-joints, wheel bearings, seals, brake rotor and pads have all been replaced. A set of Headmen headers is also included.
I have all the front end parts including the bumper, grill, and trim pieces. I have all of the interior parts but the door panels and seat covers are not in the best of condition.
This vehicle is for pickup only. The seller can not arrange shipping.
The truck can not be moved under its own power and it does not have functional brakes. A tow bar is available for moving the vehicle a short distance (less than 25 miles due to the condition of the tires).
This vehicle is sold as is with no warranty.
