Vehicle Description
You are bidding on a 1968 Jeep Kaiser M715 ton and a quarter truck.
It has the original drive train, 230 six cylinder, T98 four-speed, NP200 transfer case, Dana 60 front and Dana 70 rear axles. It has a new top and seat covers (about one year old), very nice rust free body. It was painted about one year ago and had just a couple small dents repaired. The drive train works fine, was running on the road and was licensed up until one year ago. I just don't drive it anymore.. Too many vehicles.
All in all, this is a very decent old truck. It wasn't beat up and has no rust. Better than most I've seen!
It has a little under 30,000 miles on. It hasn't been driven much in the last few years and I have owned the vehicle for the last five years.
It wasn't restored, just redone!.. Driver quality! Not show quality!
The good: New Top/Have Old Top to go with (usuable), new seat covers, recent paint, still 24 volt except for ignition system which is 12 volt civilian distributor and coil (have original distributor to go with), 24 volt GM alternator with built in regulator, power steering from a civilian 230 Gladiator pick-up, Chevy carb from a 235 cubic inch, rear dual wheel conversion with adapters and tires and wheel. It has never been red, yellow, blue, etc....... ALWAYS GREEN!.. Originally an Air Force truck. New muffler/no tail pipe, new replacement tail lights (you can see these ones)..
The bad: front bumper is bent a little on the right end but could possibily be straightened, a light crinkle on the one rear flair, 900 NDT tires are weather cracked bad but never leak. The bed floor is not painted but have enough extra paint to go with truck, a couple minor leaks underneath.. drives good but tires shake at 45-50 miles per hour until they warm up, couple of holes in the bed rail (see picture).. BB chip on the right side of windshield, gas gauge doesn't work (typical), oil and water temperature were replaced with mechanical gauges (have originals), original water temperature sending unit was bad. Memphis or Boyce equipment carriers parts.. paint is decent but not perfect.

The buyer is responsible for pick up of the vehicle.
The buyer is responsible for tax, title transfer, and registration in accordance with their state regulations. The vehicle is currently titled in Pennsylvania .
Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of auction end. Final payment will be accepted in the form of a bank drawn cashier’s check or money order payable to the seller or cash. NO PERSONAL CHECKS. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding - NO $$ = NO VEHICLE!
