1977 Postal Jeep
This is a good postal jeep. It has served me for 5 years. I don't need it now because I deliver city mail. It is an excellent choice for repair or for parts. The tires alone are worth more than the reserve. And there are plenty of other parts that can be harvested if you are buying for that purpose.
Problem areas are:
The transmission is leaky at the rear seal, the dipstick is broken, and the O ring needs replacing.
The brakes need adjusting.
The right rear shock mounts are broken.
The state inspection is expired.
There is a lot of rust. I made some progress toward removing the badly rusted areas, but I didn't have time to finish the job.
The speedometer does not work.
The odometer does not work. The mileage in the item specifics is what appears on the odometer, but I have no idea what the actual mileage is.
