1993 Jeep Wrangler being offered for sale by mechanic-owner, in order to purchase a more commuter-friendly ride. NYS safety and emissions inspected, new Firestone Destination oversize tires, ice cold a/c air conditioning, sony cd player [jeep is also pre-wired for amp and rear speakers, just need to plug in and ready to go]. indoor garaged for most of it's life - no rust anywhere worth noting...jeep is a daily driver, runs very strong, handles the highway like a champ - and can be driven back home to wherever it is you live.
Of course, like most 15+ year old YJs, there are a few known 'mechanical items to mention:
small crack corner of windshield, passenger side [very typical caused by rock chip, not in line of vision, doesn't seem to be spreading]
throwout bearing making noise when the clutch is engaged... jeep shifts fine through all the gears and clutch still grabs well, but bearing is noisy [new Exedy heavy duty clutch kit $163]
hard to tell in some of the pics but hood appears to be non-original [also green metallic] but paint is a shade off depending on the light

Jeep MUST be picked up from its current location, which is less than 15 miles from all three NYC airports [ $35-$50 taxi ride] and conveniently located for an easy exodus out of town - very close to the bridges and tunnels and all points heading North, South, West, East
Shipping to be paid for and arranged by the winning bidder - I will be make myself available here on this to meet your shipper, sign any paperwork and ensure that it is safely loaded onto the hauler

THE RESERVE HAS BEEN MET ---- HIGH BID WINS THIS JEEP.
Took on a 45 mile highway cruise yesterday - jeep is an excellent driver. Impressive power - 75MPH plus, easily cruising in the passing lane - and no where near pushing the engine. Owner is a professional mechanic - has taken care of the jeep....brakes are recent, fuel pump within that last 3 months, new tires, excellent power steering super-tight turning radius, complete tune up with plugs, filters, etc all within the last 4k miles.
only item i forgot to mention -- ignition cylinder lock plastic cover is missing. cosmetic only.
