About the Jeep:
I have used this Jeep as a daily driver for the past 2 years. When I bought the jeep I had the clutch, universal joint, power steering pump and both front wheel bearings replaced totaling $1700. I have really enjoyed driving this Jeep in the summer with the top down and in the winter with the four wheel drive. The interior and exterior is in fair condition and could be restored with minimal effort. The vehicle performs very well and could be easily taken off-road.
Known Issues:
The ‘syncros’ will need replaced to eliminate a slight grind shifting between first and second gear or down shifting from third gear to second gear. This really does not affect the drivability of the Jeep. Also there is rusting, this is common among these vehicles.
All in all, this is a nice running Jeep YJ ready for a new owner.
