For Auction is a 1995 Land Rover Defender 90 Hardtop SW. #192 of 500 imported in 1995. The vehicle is a 5 speed with 84,579 miles. This vehicle is driven weekly and has been regularly serviced. This D90 runs and drives very well. The transmission shifts smoothly and the transfer case shifts without binding. There are no leaks from the underside. The body is in ok condition, some surface rust near the hinges and all the usual places. The interior is cloth with no rips or wear in the seat covers. The headliner has some sags, but is clean and complete. The heat blows hot and the A/C blows ice cold. The interior trim is in good shape as well.
Equipment includes: 3.9L V-8 Engine, R380 5-Speed Manual transmission, Factory Air Conditioning, NEW (within 500 miles) Nitto Terra Grappler Tires on clean 16" Alloy Wheels, Brushguard, PIAA lighting (mostly new) , Factory Glass Sunroof (no leaks), side steps and Borla Exhaust.
Recent work includes: New Bosch Alternator, new drive belts, rear side window seals and felts, new tires, new OEM windshield, newer fuel pump, aftermarket ignition upgrade, water pump, fuel pump and fuel line couplings.
The undercarriage of the D90 shows rusty but is solid in most places. The rear cross member is rusty and has a few holes in it. Some of the clear from a repaint is flaking on the drivers side. The front fenders have some soft dents where someone leaned on them.
Great truck for a restoration or for a solid driver. Drives very well. Only selling to buy a Soft Top D90
