If the winning bidder plans to register the vehicle in the state of Texas, you must pay sales tax in the amount of 6.25% of the sales price, a .20903% Dealer Inventory Tax (Example of dealer inventory tax: $10,000 sales price = $20.90 inventory tax.), $50 Documentary Fee, $32.20 Title Fee, and a $62.20 registration fee (registration fee is only charged if new registration is required). Out of state winners will only have to pay a $50 document fee and a .20903% dealer inventory tax (Example of dealer inventory tax: $10,000 sales price = $20.90 inventory tax.) of the auction sales price. You will be responsible for registering the car in your home state.
The winning bidder must contact us either by email (driven-luxury@juno.com) or by telephone (210-843-4701) within 24 hours of the auction close. We require a $1000 deposit from the high bidder either by wire transfer, cashier's check or money order via overnight mail or similar overnight service within 48 hours of the auction close. We can also accept wire transfer for deposit/final balance. Personal checks/credit card checks/money market account checks or other forms of uncertified payment are NOT accepted for deposit. They can be accepted for final balance, but you must allow up to two weeks for check to clear before buyer can take final possession of vehicle. Unless prior arrangements are made, transaction must be completed within 14 days of auction end. If the buyer does not come through with the sale we reserve the right to keep the deposit and offer the car to another buyer. We are able to ship the car anywhere in the USA or if you would like to come personally we are only fifteen minutes away from the airport. Both arrangements (either car shipping, or flying in are at the buyers expense).
