Description
On the block this week is a beautiful example of the 2000 Land Rover Discovery S2. This well-maintained Truck is in very good cosmetic and mechanical condition, and runs like new. We deal in a lot of trucks and this is among the nicest that we've come across. It passes all title history checks and is clearly a One Owner.This 4.0L engine is an excellent balance of performance and power, this machine delivers plenty of torque and acceleration without thirsting to stop at every gas station on the road, and has a smooth power curve that rewards the driver with lively performance and no shortage of top end. The original finish on this Discovery is in remarkably good shape and shines very well. Imperfections in the finish are at an extreme minimum you will not find many cleaner. The factory wheels are in great shape and truck radials with more than half the life left on them. This inside is extremely clean, and has been unaffected by the sun. The seats are in excellent shape and the dash is very clean. The headliner is in very good shape, and there is minimal wear to be seen anywhere - a sign the original owner was unusually relentless in keeping the inside spotless. Mechanically, this Ford runs and drives like one would expect from machine in this condition - the engine fires right to life and idles smoothly, with smooth power throughout the rev band. The engine accessories turn quietly and work well, with the alternator keeping the battery fully charged. The steering is smooth and easy with excellent road feel, and the suspension is in great shape, handling bumpy roads with ease and rounding corners with no abnormal roll or sway. The brakes stop the car straight and confidently with no fade or wobble, and the transmission shifts perfectly through the gears. Full PaymentFull payment is required within 72 hours (3 days) after the auction ends.
