Vehicle Description
I AM IN TOWN AND AM SELLING MY ROVER.
If you are new to Rovers, this first paragraph might help, else skip to the second paragraph. The Freelander competes in the same segment as Ford Escape and Honda CRV, but being a Land Rover, it is much more capable. It has a comparatively smaller - yet powerful and very clean - 2.5L V6 engine making it efficient on gas. It has both an automatic and a manual transmission - so you have a choice here. It is equipped with AWD (All Wheel Drive) and has been rated perhaps one of the best vehicles ever to take on any terrain. In fact it was even tested on a glacier and came out on top with no slippage! Needless to say, it a superb winter vehicle in particular. The interiors are excellent and very clean. This car has never been smoked in. The vehicle has sleek black leather seats (heated) and a leather wrapped steering wheel. The power sunroof is very smooth and was recently reworked slightly by a certified Land Rover technician to completely minimize noise during highway driving. In addition to the aforementioned reasons, I had bought the car in 2006 to commute to graduate school because of its elevating deating, yet small size (for an SUV~it's about the length of an Accord so parking is a breeze). No gimmicks here, and no profit motive (seriously).
