In June, 2008 my 17 year old son was driving home and dodged a deer which caused him to go off the road and the truck rolled several times. He got out of it with no major injuries but the truck was totaled. We thought about selling it for scrap but its still got a lot of good parts on it that we thought someone could use. We know that Range Rover part are expensive so this would be a great deal for someone who needs parts.
The body and glass are completely shot but everything else is still good.
The leather interior is like new and its been in the garage since the accident so there has been no weather damage. The gauge pod and most of the interior controls survived as well.
The engine has got a lot of miles on it but we never had any problems with it. It never smoked or used oil or overheated. The transmission always shifted smoothly and all th four wheel drive stuff worked fine.
The tires and rims are still good and all the brake part and systems were in working order before, I don't think any of it was damaged.
We really think this would be a great deal and a money saver for some one who needs the parts and we really don't want to junk it but we've got to get it out of here.
You would have to make you own arrangments on how to get it home but it does still rool so it could be towed or winched onto a trailer.
