“VOGUE”
This is a rare and immaculate condition Range Rover Vogue in light champagne with cream leather interior. It is the highly optioned Vogue model (1 step up from the HSE) so it comes with the factory Range Rover front bar, spot/driving lights, side-steps, rear tail-lamp guards, full roof-rack with cross bars, window shields, head-lamp shields, luggage net and special badging.
This was a Florida car its whole life that I had shipped up a couple of years ago to use when we are at our northern Illinois property. It has only ever been for road use. It is a “family free” car so the interior is in perfect, clean and unblemished condition. The leather is spotless and all the wood, interior trim and carpets are like new. The back seat looks like it has hardly been used.
The body is straight and paint is original all over with the exception of the left rear quarter where I had a small dent repaired near the tail-lamp (about a 3” crease where a tree branch fell). The paint presents very well with a full shine and consistency.
Mechanically, this Range Rover is “all there” and fully maintained. I have religiously serviced the car and attended to anything requiring attention as needed. Everything in the car works as it should. It holds the correct operating temperature irrespective of the weather and the air suspension works perfectly. I had a new valve body, pump and suspension air-bag fitted just last year. The air suspension system allows you to manually adjust the height of the car by the push of a button and automatically adjusts according to road condition and speed. Climate control is fully operational with icy cold (and I mean “ICY-COLD”) air conditioning and excellent heating. It has a great “winter” package with heated seats mirrors and defrost elements imbedded in the front windshield to provide virtually immediate frost and ice clearing (no snow and ice scraper necessary!). All features in the car works; windows, seats, mirrors, all instruments, warning computer, gauges, dash lights, interior lights, garage door openers, defrosters, rear wipers, cup-holders, CD player and steering controls for cruise radio. The key remote does not activate the central locking – the dash computer comes up “low battery” on the dash which suggests a problem with the key - but the system can be locked manually when inserting the key in the door.
The left hand front (driver’s side) headlamp has a crack in the lens - the light works fine. I have put on hold an order for a replacement pending the interest of the winning bidder. The cost is about $175.
I have a similar year Discovery which I use for any “dirty work” so the Range Rover has been the spoilt baby of the family. Sorry to see her go but I have bought a current model Range Rover.
This is an excellent example which has not been “dressed-up” for sale but one in very well maintained condition. I simply washed the car before photographing it for this advert (no fancy detailing).
