CUSTOM LEXUS GS 400 -- PLATINUM PACKAGE
SHOWCAR QUALITY -- MAJOR UPGRADES!
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION:
If you're looking for a Lexus GS 400, you will not find a nicer one than this -- already complete with the popular upgrades! I've got over $10,000 invested in upgrades! I am selling my baby in which I've invested FAR TOO MUCH, to pay for my new FORD F350 Dual Wheel truck (needed for my work.) My loss will definitely be your gain here, as we both know that you never recover the cost of upgrades...
It has had all its service done on-time and at Lexus of Portland in Oregon. It has NOTHING wrong with it at all - everything works perfectly and I have saved all the service records.
It has every option including Xenon HID headlights. The only option it does not have is navigation (which doesn't matter because 1998 Navigation is virtually useless now as it is quite outdated -- even with the upgrade kit, it's far less sophisticated than the newest Garmins or TomToms..)
The stereo in this vehicle is incredible -- with custom order 12" Elevation Audio 'Execution' subwoofers (which you've probably never heard of as they are namely on the east coast.) They have titanium cone 8-gauge push terminals, spider integrated tinsels and massive aluminum cast dual cages for maximum strength. They are DVC 2 ohm - 1500W RMS / 2500W peak subwoofers -- They pretty much laugh at anything under 1000W. :) Currently there is a Hollywood Audio 2000W class D amplifier being used w/ the Lexus Nakamichi Stereo / CD Changer combination. They were custom installed with a special enclosure that looks nice and leaves trunk space! It is two-tone to match the car for an added touch, a Lexus emblem has been added.
The body kit was imported from Japan as the time in which it was bought there were few available locally (and the ones that were available were not attractive to me.) There are more available now but I still prefer the look of this body kit to most -- especially with the wire mesh.
The front grille has been replaced with a custom chrome grille to better match the idea behind the "Platinum Edition." It's a much cleaner look than the stock Lexus grille.
The windows were professionally tinted and look excellent -- No cheap "do-it-yourself" look. They are 20% smoke -- you can see out with no problems but no one will see in.
The wheels are RVM 20" -- I liked the design (Lowenhart styling) and they were durable and less heavy than other brands (which is important when you are customizing a performance vehicle and you don't want to ruin the performance with a lot of unsprung weight.) They were matched up to the vehicle perfectly including using hubcentric rings. I just recently replaced the tires with the best racing tire Falcon makes (Azenis ST115 - the absolute quietest sport tire around.) I have brand new spinners for each wheel that are still in the factory boxes -- I didn't want to use them with the car but they will go with the sale. I also have the factory Lexus wheels mounted with Blizzak snow tires -- also included.

As a final effort to sell the vehicle, I've dropped the reserve price to my absolute bottom-line. This puts it WELL below Kelly Blue Book's Private Party value -- and that's for BONE STOCK vehicles, not ones with major upgrades such as this. Happy bidding!
