Vehicle Description You are looking at a 1992 Lexus SC300 with 1JZ-GTE swap. Features: Engine: 1JZ-GTE swap done in June 2006. The donor engine and transmition came from a 1993 Toyota Soarer (A direct match), with 35k miles on it. No modification or fabrication were needed. Work was done by Pit Stop Performance in Seattle, WA. Only problem was that the tach and temp gauges do not work after the swap because of votage differences. But the engine runs perfectly. For a heavy coupe, the engine pulls very strong and goes very fast, with very little turbo lag. No other modifications were done to the drive train. I estimate about 20MPG. For those who don't know much about the 1JZ-GTE engine. It's a 2.5L twin turbo inline six. Max RPM is around 7200, and max power output is rated at 280HP (many dyno the stock engine at over 300HP). The engine can handle over 500HP on stock internals. And of course, because its a Toyota, it can last for over 200k miles if taken proper care of. Suspension: New drilled and slotted brake rotors, and performance pads. Staggered wheels, 18X8 front and 18X9.5 back. Front tires are almost new, about 80-90%. Rear tires are about 40%. Audio: Full custom audio setup. Indash touch screen DVD and indash equilizer. 6 Disc dvd changer. Pioneer speakers hooked to 450W two channel amp. 2 Duel 12" subwoofer box hooked to 650W single amp. Because the car is so well built, sound is very well contained within the car, so the music quality is very good. Even if you turn the bass up, you won't hear panels rattling like some civics. Misc: Xenon head light conversion, Viper alarm/remote start, Ultima Redtop battery. Aftermarket paint job. It's a purplish blue front the Mazda 2001 color book, very unique. Overall condition is good. There are the usual wear and tear in side and out but nothing major. No body damage that need to be repaired, and no gashes in the leather interior. This car always gets premium gas, and full synthesic oil once every three-four month. Some of the things that could use work although do not detract from the car's overall appearance and functionality are: replace the headlight and taillight housing, the SCs are notorious for small leaks in these housings, which cause them to fog up a bit over a rainy day. As of now, they function properly and do not hinder night driving. The suspension is a bit soft for the performance, and would benefit from a set of aftermarket kits. The wheels are not as shiny anymore and would need a good polish in a shop. The AC is out of freon and need to be recharged at a Toyota or Lexus dealership. I'm selling this car because I am studying overseas. I originally brought the car to parents thinking they'll drive it instead of their old beat up car, but they don't like it. They think all the gadgets make the car too complicated for them to figure out. So it's been sitting there for the last four month, driven occassionally because I ask them to drive it around the block at least once a month. I put so much into the car that I hate to see it being treated this way. So I want a real SC enthusiest to take care of it. Buyer responsible for shipping arrangements. The car is located in HAWAII. So shipping to mainland USA will be pricier. I'm guessing about 1000 to ship to west coast, and 1500-2000 to ship to east coast. Make sure you check the shipping please!! As mentioned, the car is with my parents, so they cannot really help much with the logistics. Once the shipping is arrange, they can deliver the car to the drop off location to be shipped. I'm sorry I cannot provide much help in this regard either. The winning bidder is expected to pay in full within ONE week from the end of the auction. Failure will result in a notice to ebay. I will also immediately relist the auction. Happy bidding!
