Thank you for looking at this one of a kind collectors vehicle. This Lincoln Continental was bought by the U.S. Government to serve as a Western White House car in California from 1969-70. This was during the Nixon Administration and is rumored to has been in service to President Nixon himself. The local sheriff in San Clemente, California bought this car at auction from the government and owned it for many years. I have included a photograph of a note he wrote in the early 90's when he passed it down to a family member. This hot rod Lincoln stayed in the sheriff's family until my father bought it from his family in 1997. This car has been garaged it's entire life and is all original. You can see from the pictures how immaculate the interior and exterior are. This Lincoln has been professionally detailed inside and out, including , the engine and trunk. There are 80,000 original miles, with original leather bench seats, original paint, chrome and vinyl top. There are a few chips in the paint by the front grille that are very minor and are smaller than a dime. There are two cracks in the dash that run from front to back. What you can't see is how the engine purrs and the joy you feel cruising around in this beauty. There are no mechanical problems. It can be slow to start on the morning of a cold day, but has never left me stranded. This car has tons of power and shifts effortlessly, it is a dream on the highway. Cash or certified cashier's check for the full amount due within one week of the end of auction. Pick up only. This vehicle is sold as is. Please feel free to email with any questions, or for additional photographs.
