I need the space so I've got to let one go. I just finished completely rebuilding the original 430 V8 engine from the ground up with new everything including a Pertronix points eliminator, starter, carb, battery, exhaust manifolds, radiator, A/C compressor and exhaust. I've put about 300 miles on her this summer and the oil pressure is 50 lbs cold and lowers to 30 warmed up and the temp. never climbs above 195, even on the hot days I drove it. I installed a vintage set of chrome AutoMeter gauges under the dash to make sure and keep an eye on things, since original gauges didn't give actaul numbers (they still work except the temp gauge because I unhooked the old sending unit when I installed the new one). The car is lowered with shorter coils in the front and lowering blocks in the rear, but if the buyer prefers I can include a set of stock height springs for the front. I also installed a new drag link when I lowered the car and installed the 20" Luxor 150 spoke wire wheels. I had custom Lincoln knock offs made and the wheels come with wire spinners too. I will include the original steel wheels, tires and hubcaps, all in good condition, with the car. The car is complete and runs and drives well, but it is VERY LOW. My plan is to install air ride on it if it doesn't sell, which is what it really needs anyway. The stance right now is perfect, and driving it down the highway is no problem, but speed bumps are out of the question. The car has a fresh coat of Valspar Blitz Black single stage industrial flat black PAINT, not primer. It's the same stuff that's been around for years and is the best way to "suede" a car that will actually be driven in the weather. There was no bondo in the car and it is completely straight with no rust. The only surface rust is on the underside of the decklid between the skin and the trunk lid support, which is very common with 60's Lincolns because of the acid glue they used in manufacturing. The carpet in the trunk is shot, but the floor is solid. All the chrome is in good to excellent condition except for the bumper end caps, which all have slight surface rust or small dents. The bumpers themselves are completely straight and all the side trim is perfect. I did shave the hood ornament when it was painted, but the new owner can have the ornament and it could be easily installed again if so desired. The interior of the car is original burgandy leather that is in great shape for its age. The dash pad is cracked in the middle and on the passenger side but could easily be wrapped in leather to fix the issue. The top of the passenger seat has some sun damage, but there are no rips or tears anywhere in the car and the seats are still very comfortable. All the lights work, as well as the majority of the power windows, locks, and seats. I have rebuilt all the window switches in the drivers door and am currently working on the switches in the passenger door and can include a few spare switches for parts. The dash clock doesn't work, but can be upgraded to a quartz movement original clock for $100 or so. The radio is an AM/FM unit and works along with the power antenna. The carpet is in excellent shape as well as the headliner. All the glass is perfect with no cracks. Please contact me with any questions you may have or if you'd like specific pictures of any certain item/angle. You can also call me at 509-432-1021 between 9am and 9pm PST with any questions. The reserve is lower than I'm asking locally, but it is listed locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells at my house first. Thanks, and good luck.
