Greetings! This really unique Mark III came into my life December of last year through a connection knowing I wanted a low miles Mark III with some fun options. Sunroof is the one I wanted. So after its delivery, I sent it to my local mechanic that services my American cars. Basically, the car sat for a decade during which it was involved in a divorce. Once that was settled, it was placed for sale where I purchased it. Knowing it needed to be recommissioned, my mechanic was given carte blanc to make it ready and fun for Spring touring. The following was dealt with....invoices available with purchase.
Front bumper corners replaced with nos
Drivers door switches repaired or replaced along with windows serviced and made operational
Front to rear complete and correct exhaust system installed (and correct sound)
Engine bay pressure washed and cleaned
Carburetor completly rebuilt
Front end alignment
All fluids flushed and topped off with correct fluids
New battery
new belts, hoses etc
Brakes totally refreshed and made correct
New heater core assembly along with correct hoses
Misc gaskets repaced due to age
Full tune and service
Transmission flushed and replaced with correct fluids
Same for rear end
All new shocks Monroe
Grease fittings serviced
All light bulbs replaced as required as all work
SUNROOF was removed, serviced, resealed, motor rebuilt (slow) pipes cleared for drainage, lubricated and reinstalled perfectly
New Mark III emblem on front grille
Well, as all car stories go, another love arrived into my life and I stopped the exterior cosmetic work on the car. Thus I am selling it for someone to enjoy as it, or take it to dent masters and get "storage" pings off the sides, a few on the hood. Its needs a really good clay block cleaning and two rust spots (5") span around the two r/r wheel archs. Otherwise, make it a driver......finish the cosmetics and show! Carpets, mats all there. Pic of gas and brake pedals note clean (not 127,000) miles. It really is a lovely car, stunning interior, and perfect sunroof. The top is orig. and no noted flaws. Kindly contact me for any questions. Its a LOW LOW reserve as I leave for the balance of July and all of August for Pebble Beach. Its going to someone!!!!!!!!!

Please note: The March invoice for the service was $3990 and the sunroof repairs was $1100. Misc parts were $700. The a/c blows, but I did not service that as of yet due to looking for the correct new R12 (whatever?) parts. Different service tech does that here, and it did not make it to his shop. Also, the clock does not work unless you wind it backwards that then it runs for several hours. ???? on that one! Trunk release does work, but its the release mech. in the trunk has an "issue". Thats all I can remember in those refined details.
