1997 Lincoln Mark VIII 4.6 DOHC
Very Nice, well kept Private Owner
This is a very clean fast car. It is still serving us well. We have taken very good care of it.
We would keep it if it were not for our communist neighborhood association limiting us to two cars, fining us and even towing our car on occasion if not in our garage. I need my Garage.
I put new factory head lights with new HIDs costing over 1000.00, which made the car look new, and they are very bright. From what I am seeing on EBay, this car is a steal. Look at the front of our car versus other cars selling for 4k.
The car has two original keys, keyless entry via the key chain, alarms and includes codes for door.
It has a new Serpentine Belt, new Alternator warranty- receipt included.
The Air Ride was replaced with a sport suspension costing over $1000.00 so now there are no air ride worries.
The AC was completely overhauled last year and it will freeze you out. We have invested more in the past two years than the reserve in order to keep the car for my 16 year old but she wants a small pickup truck.
You could say the car is worth more in spare parts than the reserve.
The car is very quick as it out runs my wife’s new Mercedes E320. It has more features than my wife’s new car and I believe it would make the most car for the dollar for any student or daily driving. I have the manuals on CD. That reminds me, we put new JBL speakers and a new factory radio in a few years back so it plays CDs like new. Factory system sounds great in this car.
I drive this car to save gas versus my truck. The Lincoln gets 27 MPG. It gets better mileage than many new cars without the payment. You can view your gas usage in real time with the computer.
We put a lot of hwy miles in TX on her and she never let us down. We did change the air ride suspension to a performance one so you don’t have to worry about the air ride. There are no interior tears in leather. I do have the original headlights and one extra HID bulb that cost over 200.00. We use Mobile One synthetic and would recommend you keep using synthetic as we put a lot of miles on our cars and have never had an issue.

We have title in hand new plates. If you are FL resident you will only need to do a tag transfer.
Things to eventually do when you get the car:
These were things I wanted to do before my daughter would get the car. Car has sealed sunroof because we haven’t had time to put the new sunroof motor in. We do have the sunroof motor. The plastic that goes around the bottom of the driver’s seat has been repaired but I recommend looking for a new one. I have seen many great parts for this car all over Ebay. You could easily restore almost anything. The interior is in great shape (see picture) but I would eventually replace the driver’s seat so it looks as good as the rest of the interior. As I stated it is a daily driver, the seat has no tears but it is worn and sometimes sticks using the memory mode. There is a small piece of plastic near the shifter is missing Photo included.
