Thanks for looking! Today your looking at my gem! A 1979 Lincoln Continential Town Car. This land yacht is just too beautiful to describe! This is the kind of luxury car you dreamed of having as a teenager! All the rich guys had em' now it's your chance to relive the glory days of the 70's! It features a powerful 6.8L 400 CID V-8 engine. I purchased this car a few months back, and now I have realized that I am just not ready to take care of a classic car. Everything is original to the car. It has about 72,300 miles on it. I purchased it with about 71,000 miles. Since then its had some work. The carb has been rebuilt, the timing re-adjusted, new distributor installed, new tires (white walls of course!) and a oil change. The car runs smoothly, and I drive it every day to work. It floats like a nice big Lincoln should! Cosmetically its really something else! The seats are all leather. The carpet has no stains and has just been shampooed. This car features cruise control, heat, air (which has just been recharged with freon so it runs ICE COLD), heated side-view mirrors, opera windows, original quad 8 track player (which works in both standard stereo and quadraphonic), auto windows and locks. This car is fully equipped! There is some extremely small rust bubbles in the body. The frame is SOLID! And according to the older owner, it has never seen winter.
