I AM SELLING MY LINCOLN TOWNCAR AS IN THE PICTURE. HERE IS A LITTLE BACKGROUND:
I BOUGHT THIS BABY AROUND 4 YEARS AGO A THE SECOND OWNER. I WAS WELL MAINTAINED BEFORE ME BY A RETIRED COUPLE WHO UPGRADED TO A NEW MODEL. I PURCHASED THIS AS A 3RD CAR BEATER SINCE I HAVE 4 DRIVERS IN THE HOUSE. I DID MOST OF THE DRIVING FOR AROUND 2 YEARS. MY 21 YEAR OLD SON DROVE IT FOR THE NEXT 2 YEARS AND BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF IT AS YOU CAN SEE INT HE PICTURE. FOR THE LAST 12K MILES OR SO IT WAS RECKLESSLY DRIVEN.
I SELL THIS CAR NOW AS FREAKING IS AND MAKE NO WARRANTEES WHAT SO EVER. I ASKED MY SON TO LIST EVERYTHING HE KNEW WAS WRONG WITH THIS JALOPY AND I WILL CUT AND PAST HIS RESPONCE BS FOLLOWS:
Other things wrong besides picture:
Battery corroded causing drained battery after sitting too long
Left exhaust pipe held on with belt
Front brakes squeek although the pads have been recently replaced
check engine light on
ABS light on

I believe that the car would be a decent deal at around $1,000.00. Anything less than that is a bargain. KBB list this car at $3,550.00 in fair condition (the poorest it list).
So if you can put another $200-300 and a bit of TLC you will have a decent car with many miles to be driven.
The car is in Buffalo Grove and can be seen by appointment. I will accept paypal and expect to be paid within 24 hours after end of auction.

Great description, Dad. First of all most of the damage to the car was done while it was parked in the driveway. My aunt backed into the car twice. The first time, she took the side view mirror. The second time, she took the headlight. The dent in the trunk was done while I was downtown. I was inside when it happened. No note was left. The front tire was a pothole in Waukegan, which if you have driven on grand its not a stretch to imagine your car doing the same. The rubber holding up the exhaust ripped on its own. I have a extremely sturdy belt holding it in place currently. Don’t want to weld it and I lost the hanger. The pellet wound in the pix was there when I got the car and has not spread at all since I got it. I lost the receipt to the brakes that’s why I never took the car back in to midas. The check engine light is for a fault EGR valve($20). I used to work at Jiffy Lube so I use our computer scanner. Also, since I got the vehicle I have gotten the oil changed every 1500-2000 miles since it was free. I also recently did a fuel injection cleaning and purged the trans. A new battery and some scrubbing will fix the starting problem. The car runs extremely well and seats like a lazy boy. Very roomy interior. Great features, including: heated seats, cruise control, Electronic seat adjustment, and great power steering! The 4L V8 really goes, which is surprising given the weight and size of the vehicle. The Air-ride suspension makes it feel like your driving on a cloud, except in Waukegan. Don’t let the pessimist above hinder your perception of this vehicle. It runs great and is extremely predictable. Your dream ‘boat’ is waiting for you!
