Vehicle Description
For Sale. 1958 MGA. Engine and transmission in car is a 1963 1600 B with electric overdrive. I have the original 1500 engine and transmission included in sale. Body is rough but restorable. Clear North Carolina title. Also included in sale is a 1959 MGA complete with engine and transmission. No title. All sheet metal on both cars is rough but restorable. All three engines are stuck but rebuildable. Cars and engines could also be used as spare parts. Both cars and extra engine/transmission will need to be trailered. I will consider hauling up to 100 miles of area code 28043 for .50 cents per mile.
Note: Cars are offered for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel sale on ebay if they are sold before bidding ends.
On May-13-08 at 17:47:48 PDT, seller added the following information:
Added pictures of the doors, radiator, rocker panels and engine on the 58. Added a picture of the extra motor. Note the hole in the aluminum transmission case from laying on ground. Added pictures of the 59. Bottom of fenders and rocker panels rusted away. Hood and deck lid should be repairable. Look close at pictures and ask questions. Again, all sheet metal is rough and all engines are stuck. Thanks.

Only able to add 3 pictures. Chassis looks good. no patches or rusted out places. One of the front bolts for bumper is broke off, should be no problem to fix. Transmission mount was not modified to install the 1600 engine. I have one windshield frame that was on the 58. Thanks.

Took a closer look at 59. Frame has some rusted out places. Hood, deck lid, engine/transmission and running gear should be useable though. Frame should be OK on 58. Thanks.
