Vehicle Description
Up for bid we have a 1979 MGB Convertable coupe. I'm selling this car for a buddy of mine at work so all questions will be directed to him. He bought the car to restore however has since realized the car is way to small for him and his family. The car runs and shifts really good. This is not an OD transmission. He put a Weber downdraft carb on the motor. Engine compression is 150 at all cylinders. The convertable top is in good shape however the windows are a little discolored and needs a zipper for the back window (original top). Floors are solid, trunk is solid, sills are solid, the entire body is in great shape. has PA inspection. Car needs a hazard (4 ways) swithc and the gas guage doesn't work. It could be sometyhing minor, he doesn't know because the car just sat in his garage. Car has different seats in it now however comes with the original MGB coupe seats. tires are good.
Car is sold as is where is as it's old. Car is driveable (bring a dealer plate and drive it home).
