Vehicle Description
I have for sale a very clean and unmolested 1979 MGB Roadster for sale. It runs excellent, starts with the touch of a key and will take you anywhere you want to go. It has been a southern car all of its life and has the totally rust free body to prove it. The car currently has 97,000 original miles and has been garaged all of its life. Paint looks to be all original but I have no way to verify this. This car has never been rusted out, patched, wrecked or had any body damage. It has 100% original factory installed MG body panels. The British Racing Green body is straight as a pin with only a few scratches and chips to show for the almost 30 years it has been on this planet. The interior is Autumn Beige with black accents and compliments the green exterior very well.
I have just installed brand new $400 (parts cost) upper and lower door panels and a new $450 top (parts cost) and header seal as well as a new battery. I also replaced the heater valve and the wheel center MG medallions. The car also comes with the full cockpit cover and the top boot as well as two high quality beige canvass MG seat covers. All of the original tools and jack are still present in their original carrying cases. There is a newer Sony AM/FM CD player and a custom speaker box behind the seat. All gauges work, even the clock! The wipers, lights, turn signals, horn, etc all work as they should. This car is ready to enjoy as-is for years to come.
If you can't pay for the car, please don't bid on the car! I require full payment within 7 days of the end of the auction with no exceptions unless expressly given by me in writing. The last car I sold on e-bay the buyer sent a deposit and the final payment was supposedly going to be here in a day or two. Over three weeks later and after every excuse under the sun, there still was no payment. I gave him a chance to stop payment and wire the $$ and he failed to do that too. So I sold the car to the second bidder through e-bay's second chance offer system and the first buyer left ME negative feedback and I can't leave him any! Got to love this new system!
