Vehicle Description Gorgeous 1965 MGB Classic Convertible - Low Reserve Here we go again, tried to make a quick buck or two on this MGB last year twice. I have to swallow my pride and admit I might have paid to much for it. My loss is your gain! I have lowered my reserve two thousand dollars from where I had it set last year. If you're looking for a fun, zippy, red MGB convertible, that is just fine the way she sits, or if your one of those restoration purists, you can't go wrong purchasing this MGB. The Obvious Bad Stuff : Runs fine, could use a little carbureator adjusting. Slight leak in brake line, had to add a little brake fluid to resivor this spring. Slight leak in rear axle hub. Paint is not perfect, a few chips around doors and trunk. Doors need slight tweaking, don't line up perfectly. The Obvious Good Stuff: Replaced 3-bearing motor with 1968 5-bearing motor and transmission. I have 3-bearing motor and transmission, it is included with auction. Tires are fairly new, not very many miles on them. Rims were repainted. In the trunk you will find a matching rim and spare tire, jack, and knock off hammer. Has oil transmission cooler. Updated radiator. Newer battery, has been rewired with negative ground.Looks like floor panels have been replaced. Several gauges, knobs have been replaced. I have box of old parts. All gauges work. All blinkers and lights work. Has desirable pull handles.Have extensive records of parts and repairs already done, such as brakes, shocks, clutch, etc. Has new wrag top, wiper blades, new interrior seats, upholstry. It's all here, not much needed to restore her to her former glory. I will throw in several restoration manuals also. Overall, this is fantastic little MGB. If I were a MGB fanatic I would keep her, and drop a small block V-8 in her, but I'm not ,so like I said before MY LOSS, IS YOUR GAIN!  Good luck bidding! Thanks for looking!
