Okay, The story of the van I have had it since 6/8/04 it was originally titled to my mother in-law.I transferred title into my name in 2005. It has been maintained pretty well as it was our only vehicle for a few years. Oil has always been changed every 3k. I took it off the road last winter and it sat in the garage. So I took that time to tune it up (new plugs, wires, air filter, oil change) I put it back on the road about a month ago and had two new tires put on the front and was hoping to use it for a little vacation. The check engine light came on and I had a local shop put the tester on it. There seems to be an 02 sensor that is reading erratically. The mechanic said the tester he used couldn't tell me which one it was (there are four). I am told that if it is taken to someone with a better diagnostic computer or a Mazda dealer that they can pin point the sensor that needs to be replaced. The sensor cost about $185.00 + Labor. Other than the light being on and not being able to pass the emissions test until its fixed, The van still runs great. So for a couple hundred extra dollars you will get a great family vehicle that will last for years.
The title shows a Lienholder, But I have the bank letter showing its clear and will be removed when new owner registers the vehicle. I did not have the bank letter yet when I registered the van in my name so I couldnt remove the lien. Since I have owned this van I have also replaced the battery and front rotors. I did have one minor fender bender I was at a stop sign and a kid ran in to the passenger corner breaking the taillight and scratching up the bumper. All was fixed by the repair shop. This vehicle can be driven anywhere with the help of a temporary inspection sticker. So if you register it you can drive it home.
