This is a nice 1995 Miata MX5 M edition 1.8L 5 speed with power steering, power windows, power mirrors, A/C, Cruise Control and the upgraded interior. ALL OPTIONS WORK GREAT INCLUDING A/C AND CRUISE. A top was installed a little over a year ago with a new window. Car has MOMO wheels and a factory limited slip rear axle. The car was serviced by Morin Brothers in San Luis Obispo and I have some of the service history. The car gets ~ 30 MPG on hwy and mid 20's in town. Currently has 177K and needs nothing except some new tires soon. Does not use oil and has been running MOBIL 1 synthetic for most of its life. JVC in dash CD player w/MP3 hookup and Infinity head rest speakers. DOES NOT BURN A DROP OF OIL BETWEEN CHANGES.
Car was recently smogged and will smog with no problems or money back.
Known Problems (everything I know)
Paint has numerous chips and scratches from normal wear and tear but the paint is glossy and still looks really nice. The front plastic clip has the common stress cracks from normal wear and exposure but still looks good
No accident history.
The car will need tires soon.
Rips in the leather seat seams but is covered by custom fit Miata seat covers (designed for the miata)
Momo Wheels have some scuffing on the outside from rubbing curbs
Has the common lifter tick for Miatas using the HLA lifters. I had it checked and dealer said it was normal. It has been this way for over 50K miles with no problems. You can do a search at the http://forum.miata.net/vb/ and verify that this is a common problem and not to worry about it.
This is as much as I know. Everything works great. Remember this is a used car with mileage and is still my daily driver. Do not expect a showroom new car. This is a great little that has never failed me.
THE ONLY REASON I AM SELLING IS I NEED A CAR WITH A REAR SEAT FOR MY 4 YEAR OLD AND HIS SPORTS STUFF.
Car runs beautifully and looks great as well.
