Vehicle Description
Here we have a great car in need of a little attention. The fuel pump is bad, but it starts right up with starting fluid, but stops as soon as the fluid is burned off. I removed the fuel pump and attempted to clean it out, and did get it to come on, but it's still not pumping.One seller here on ebay has the pumps new for $59. The car is also needing a muffler and a paint job. The paint is completely dead and chalky on the top surfaces. (this is why I'm not interested in fixing the car and driving it... I can't paint, and don't want to pay a shop to paint it for me.) Body is straight, and the only rust is around the rear jack locations just in front of the rear wheels. It has just over 120,000 miles, and when it is cranked, the oil pressure comes right up and the engine is smooth and quiet. A carfax report was pulled that showed no accident history.
