PROS: * 150K miles * Turbo * Original first aid kit and tool pack are still intact * Thermostat regulator replaced in 2004 * Auxiliary fan and motor replaced in 2005 * Coolant pump replaced in 2005 * Rear axles replaced in 2005 * Brakes replaced in 2006 * All 5 glow plugs replaced in 2006. Engine is an “in-line 5." * Tires replaced in 2006 - BF Goodrich Touring T/A tires installed, great tread. * New Interstate battery replaced in 2006. Warranty still exists. * Oil, oil filter, fuel filter and air filter changed regularly *
CONS: * Vacuum locks on all 4 doors only work while vehicle is running and immediately after car is turned off. There is a vacuum leak we have not attempted to find. Driver-side still works fine despite lack of vacuum pressure * Tachometer and cruise control work sporadically and have since we bought the car in 2004. The tach sending unit needs to be replaced. * Air conditioning line has a slow leak – have to recharge the coolant several times a year. We charged the system twice last year ourselves. * Minor body damage over passenger rear fender from original owner - see photo. * Little rust on outside rear passenger quarter panel above trim and cracked taillight cover on same side - see photo * Oxidation of the original paint * Small holes from a previous owner in driver’s seat possibly due to a pen in a back pocket. We tried to patch, but patch color is not exact to leather - see photo * Some cracking of dashboard and two small rock chips in windshield that we never bothered to replace - see photos * Since brakes have been replaced – there is some squeaking as calipers warm up and release. Our mechanic said this is due to the metallic brake pads.
As for the title - we have a clear title for the State of Georgia, but the title is salvaged in Alabama. We have not been able to find evidence of repair, flooding, or new paint on this vehicle! We have a vehicle report current as of 7/2007 when this was discovered. It is available upon request.
The only reason we are selling this vehicle is because we needed a truck! Please ask questions.
