Vehicle Description
You are bidding on a 1985 Mercedes-Benz 300SD Turbo Diesel. All filters have been changed within 100 miles. Car starts and runs down highway great. Turbo works great. Gets approximately 28 – 32 miles per gallon. Only 2 rust spots are not rusted through and are shown in picture. Front tires are at about 50% but useable, and rears are about 75%. All windows work, sunroof works, AC does not work. No rips in seats or dashboard, interior is great. Brakes work excellent, Transmission shifts fine. Wouldn’t be afraid to drive anywhere. Power antenna is not with car and radio does not work – have found antenna for $50 delivered on ebay. Car would be excellent for Biodiesel or other fuels but has only been run on regular diesel. Car has almost 220K miles but runs great. Do have repair book, transmission filter, and extra fuses.
I bought this car for my wife and for biodiesel use but wife does not like the age she thinks she looks in it or the way a diesel sounds and drives. So vehicle will have to go and I will have to try to appease her delicate taste with something different.
It is a used car so there is no warranties and the vehicle is sold as is. Older car so it will have older look, not immaculate. Very welcome to come and drive car before bidding just call in advance 270-862-5684. 42701 is location.
